We had a fun week. Started off at the Trollskogen which is a Troll forest in Hundvag, a little Island north of Stavanger. We were there with Zachary's Tippy Toes group. Afterward we went to the Nato Base for a 4th of July Bar-be-Que (even though it was the 2nd). We also went to a small petting zoo on Thursday.
On Friday we went to Bore Strand (beach) and Zachary had a great time putting his toes in the water. He loves the water and has no fear at all. He did manage to fall in face first, but recovered well! By the way the water is FREEZING!
We spent the afternoon with some friends celebrating the 4th - it was a little different not having any fireworks but hard to do when it doesn't get dark until
1 a.m. Norway celebrates with fireworks on New Year's Eve. In fact ALL NIGHT LONG!
On Saturday we went to Egersand which is a Harbor town about an hour south of Stavanger. It was a beautiful drive. The town was having a little festival. So we put Zachary on a little train and a carousel but he got scared. He quickly got over it though with some soft ice cream. We are now spending a quite Sunday at home. More later!
