Wow... what a trip! Zachary now has more frequent flyer miles than Mommy! We had a great time in SA. We visited Pilanesburg game reserve and saw a plethora of wild animals including elephants, kudu, springbok, hippos, monkeys, rhinos, giraffe, and many more. Alas, the lions eluded us in the wild but we did see them at a lion park where they breed them and have them in areas that are really open and they get to roam pretty well. We actually were able to "pet" a lion cub and even fed some giraffe. Zachary wasn't scared but he didn't like the sticky tongue. It was really cool. Zachary has been really talking up a storm and one of his first new words was "Kudu", a deer like animal that we saw in Pilanesburg. Funny! He says Tove, car, down, out, on, off, bottle, milk, etc..... very cute!
It was nice to spend some time with Claude, Tove and our new godchildren, Troy and Savanna. Zach had fun with Troy, playing in the sandpit and swinging in the swing set.
We took over 700 pics between all of us and some cool videos! Here's a few we'd like to share!! More to come!
D,T n Z!
